CHEAP WAY TO TRAVEL FROM DELHI TO MCLEODGANJ=4 days trip which covers triund and bir
Mcleodganj is an awesome place one should visit in his lifetime.Mcleodganj which lies in himachal Pradesh.It has many monasteries and have a basic trek to triund.
LETS START THE JOURNEY
MCLEODGANJ
we were just four friends this was our first trip to mcleodganj,we all were colleage first year students.We planned a small trip to mcleodganj in January 2 just after the new year.
First we started the journey by booking our tickets from delhi to mcleodganj,which was the direct bus to mcleodganj.We booked vovlo bus which nearly cost around 700 per person ,we got into the bus around 7 pm from cp and we reached our destination around 9 am morning.So it was a direct bus to mcleodganj,so we have a plan to vist mcleodganj first and then dharamshala which is 30 mins or just 10 km from mcleodganj.After having our first tea from that bus stand we started searching for a hotel,guys trust me don't get into the trap of people who stars offering you hotels from bus stand because in mcleodganj we got our hotel for just rs.500 for four person I mean a total of 500.Hotel was good the only problem was it was in underground that's not much deal because the service was so good and believe me the people or the locals of mcleodganj are such a nice people.In mcleodganj it is easy to find a hotel less than 1000rs. for four people.Thats how our trip started we get into the hotel and get fresh and that day we plan to complete our day in mcleodganj.First we visited some monasteries which was just half a kilometres from mcleodganj. Then we we went to bhagsunath falls which was nearly 1 km on the way we just have our brunch around 12:30 pm and that was traditional aloo ke paratha just for 60.rs and a cup of tea for rs.20.Then we went to bhagsunath falls it was a great snowfall there and was an awesome experience.evening time we just boght food and all for dinner and have a great day at hotel.
TRIUND
Next morning we started our triund trek in morning 5 am.we just got fresh and have a tea and there our trek to triund begins.most of the people recommended us to have a taxi from mcleodganj to gullu devi temple whch nearly cost around 400rs. but trust me it is just 1 km from mcleodganj you can have a walk and save your 400 rs.,we reached gullu devi temple around 7 am becase we just clic photos between and have some break in between and also we just many people advised not to go there to early because the trek from gullu devi temple has a small forest in between and bears could be there if you travel before sun rise so we just slow down our trip and reached gullu devi temple around 7am.from tere we started the trek the best part is you would get a dog I mean a street dog who will be there in your whole trip.When we started the trip we just got some food items like biscuits and bread sandwich with us and we bought some juices and water so we can carry them because in between trekking you need a lot of water,carry all necessary first aid some badages paracetamol which is necessary.So around 11:45 we reached we reached triund top,in January it was full of snow and was snow everywhere it was an amazing experience to have a snowy trk in between we met many random peoples for sure all are so friendly you should mingle up and can have agreat fun with them.At triund top I forgot to mention we just bought our own tent and purchases sleeping bags from there there you can rent four sleeping bag below 1000rs we just got it for 600rs.all four sleeping bag with that tent base.ther we had some tea and maggi which was quite expensive but you should have it because without maggi the trip is pending. we have good view and scenery there we just camped at the wnd side of a mountain whch was great view from thee we just have many photos but one thing that sunset that was amazing it was the best sunset till then. after that at dinner also we have maggi and we just there were many groups we joined them and was enjoing the day have camp fire sing dancing and all.one thing the night was freezing I mean in that time it was -5 degree all the buff was freezed and we got into our tent and have a good sleep. the morning was the best,the sun rise I wish would experience that it was pinkish colour sun rise,i mean the best. Slowly we packed all our belongings and moved down it took just 2 hrs two hours to slow down a we reached mcleodganj there we just went to a restaurant and have our lunch that's how triund day ends.
BIR
Bir which is 2hrs from dharamshala we took direct buses to bir road but it has fixed timming is it 6am or 2pm,it will cost 200 or 150rs. Actually we reached dharamshala around 11 am and we have a plan to visit that stadium and a library but literally in dharamshala there are not much things to do just that stadium will be enough. at 2pm we got our bus and reached bir billing at 4:30 ad then it was going to be darken so we searched for hotel at bir we got our hotel for 800 it was kind of homesay and then we stayed and clicked some photos there.Morning 6am we started our bir,also we have got our breakfast too in homestay it was all inclusive one night and breakfast for 800,in bir there we took cycles for rent it cost around 300 for 12 hrs and then we reached top and that is the perfect place for paragliding it will cost around 1000rs+400 for go pro and there we experienced our paragliding.Around 2pm we slow down have a light lunch from there and then if you wish you can end our trip but we stayed one more night there and took our bus to dharamshala.from there we just got direct bus to delhi the himachal local bus which will cost 600 or 700.

That's how we ended our trip,we have trek we visited four places mcleodganj,dharamshala,triund and bir also we enjoyed adventures of camping and paragliding which will nearly cost 6000 per person but if you don't wish to go for bir it will reduce your budget to 3000rs. per person ya bir is not expensive but I wish you could also experience paragliding.
